For marketers to create successful customer experiences we need to listen and observe the market to know what our customers are asking for. For most of our content, we want to show our customers that we can solve the pain points they have with our products and how our product or service can make their lives or work easier. But how do we communicate this or stand out when all our competitors are all trying to reach the same potential customers.Person on ladder reaching for the skyOne way to stand out is by how we communicate your message. Putting frequent use of video content into your online marketing mix can both give you a better ROI and help you create a better customer experience. We have found some statistics from HubSpot's content trends report that show the preferences of the customers:

  • 54% of respondents say they want to see more video content from a brand or business they support.
  • 43% of respondents report that the most memorable content they have seen from a company is video content.
  • 53% of respondents would like to see more video content in the future.

Making video part of your customer experience shows that you do listen to customers and include their behavior and feedback when planning on how to create content for them.
